Why do my searches in the catalog return only items which are available online/for download?
In order to support the need to provide primarily digital content due to library closures to the public because of the public health emergency, a recent update to the library's catalog introduced a filter which prioritizes material available online or for download.
The Access Online feature automatically puts titles which can be borrowed online at the top of your search results:
With this feature enabled, the Titles I can... group will also appear above the Available now group.
If you want to see all results for your search and not just digital titles, you can turn off the 'Access online' filter by clicking on the check mark from the left-hand filters list or by clicking "Off" in the active filter box. You can also continue to narrow your search by adding and removing filters.
